Prycity was founded on November 8, 2018 by Jose M. Torres, a determined entrepreneur born on September 21, 1976 in Peñuelas, Puerto Rico. For years Jose dreamed of becoming his own boss. In 2018 he took the leap and started an online store despite having no prior experience.

He studied other successful shops, learned the business, and created Prycity. The name combines “Pry” (for Price) and “City” (for Community) — a marketplace where buyers and creators from different cities, states, and countries can connect.

Jose purchased the domain on IONOS.com and began with basic hosting. As sales grew, he upgraded to more secure hosting. Today, Prycity is a trusted digital marketplace specializing in GPL digital downloads, offering scripts, design assets, fonts, graphics, themes, and more for web designers, developers, and creatives — with a strong focus on customers in the USA and Puerto Rico.
